Yard Islands Late Winter Photos

Last week I was Kitewing Sailing on Squam Lake around a beautiful group of small islands, know as the Yard Islands.  I took a break from sailing to look closer at the ice melting around the rocks in the warm sunshine.  I took these photos with my GoPro Hero2 camera.  I love the wide angle and it is fun that you don’t know the exact frame of the photos or even what the photo looks like.  But with practice you can make an educated guess as to what is going to look cool later on.
